AGM Entertainment - 27/09/02

On the evening of Saturday 27 September 2002, there was an evening of entertainment at Naeudd Pendre. All TRPS volunteers and members were welcome to attend.

The doors opened at 1915 hrs. The masses were, firstly, magnificently entertained by Jonathan Mann playing the Wurlitzer until just after 2000 hrs.

Bill, Posh, Alex, Mouse, Dale and Russell took over with their excellent acoustic version of 'Swear It Again'. The performance was far better than in rehearsals during the day... probably had something to do with the fact that we had all had a few pints before going on stage!!

Posh and Alex then again took center stage to stun the audience with their impressive rendition of U2.

The Bill and Posh duo came out of retirement to do an acoustic version of 'Words'.

The 'Girls', finished the singing slot of the entertainment by doing a TR version of 'Tragedy'. The Girls, as usual, had the audience transfixed.

Roger and Sue brought a touch of class to end of the pre-skit entertainment slot, the Keale Way!

Billed not as the Star Attraction, but most certainly the Climax to the Evening's Entertainment - a series of lite-hearted Sketches were performed, painstaking written by Dale. The most memorable star of this part of the show was 'Mouse'... I don't think many people will forget it in a hurry. Anyone who took pictures please please see the advert below.

In the back room, JAVS was showing some archive footage 16mm film.

The entertainment finished about 2100 hrs, and was taken over by a Disco, which took us up to Last Orders.

A special thanks to all those involved in the entertainment, Phil Mason who manned the door, Javs for organising the film show in the back room, PKM for hosting the Entertainment in his unique style, Pat for orgainizing the bar and disco and Rob Prosser and Justin Adam who controlled the mixing desk. Thanks guys... see you next year?
